- After having a bad experience with Winchester Carpet Outlet and Home Depot I found Amelia Floor Store. The difference is night and day! Steve was great as well as his installer Dale and his helper. Ordering my carpet only took a few minutes versus 90 at HD. Install by Dale was fast and flawless unlike HD which shorted me on carpet due to their own error and then tried to charge me for it. - After shopping around and having some difficulty finding what we wanted, we tried Amelia Floor Store. They had the exact maple hardwood flooring we were looking for. Steve was very helpful and Mike is a very experienced installer. We live in a very old house with uneven floors. Mike was able to take care of the major slope in our living room and the maple floor looks great!
